Birthdays, anniversaries, engagements, baby showers, rehearsal dinners, corporate gatherings, and celebrations of every kind. For nearly half a century our rose-filled rooms and sun-drenched garden patios have been the backdrop for some of Los Angeles' most cherished moments.

Five distinct spaces, each with its own character: the Main Patio (about 360 sq ft — seats 45, up to 60 standing), the Side Patio (about 200 sq ft — seats 24, up to 35 standing), the Main Dining Room (about 470 sq ft — seats 48, up to 55 standing), the Upper Dining Room (about 285 sq ft — seats 36, up to 50 standing), and the Lounge (about 200 sq ft — seating up to 25).

The Main Dining Room and Upper Dining Room can be booked together, seating 84 guests or holding up to 105 for a standing reception. For anything larger, we offer full restaurant buyouts — please contact our events team.

The Lounge is our most intimate space, seating up to 25.

Yes. The Main Dining Room and Upper Dining Room are frequently booked together as a single space. The Side Patio is also available as a reception add-on to either the Main Patio or the Lounge — ideal for welcome drinks before a seated dinner.

We do. Mondays are especially well suited to a full buyout, when the restaurant can be given over entirely to your event. Buyouts are also available on other days depending on the season and the calendar.

The Main Dining Room seats 90 and holds 120 for a standing reception — our largest single space. With a full restaurant buyout, we can host weddings and celebrations of up to 150 guests.

Yes. Ivy at the Shore is our best setting for a wedding celebration, accommodating up to 150 guests across the full restaurant. Our events team will help you plan the flow of the evening from ceremony through dinner and dancing.

The Patio is fully covered, so your event goes ahead exactly as planned whatever the weather — you get the ocean air and none of the worry.
