What are The Ivy's hours?

The Ivy is open Tuesday through Sunday from 9:30am, with the last reservation at 9pm (9:30pm on Fridays and Saturdays). Brunch is served until noon on weekdays and until 2pm on weekends. The restaurant is closed on Mondays.

How much does a meal at The Ivy cost?

Starters run $18–$32, house-made pastas $36–$65, and mains $37–$69 — The Best Crab Cakes are $32, Ricky's Fried Chicken is $42, and Japanese Wagyu starts at $135. Our menus page lists every current dish and price. A 20% gratuity is added for parties of 5 or more, and we accept up to three credit cards per table.

What dishes is The Ivy famous for?

Signatures include The Best Crab Cakes, Bob's Caesar Salad, Ricky's Fried Chicken, lobster ravioli with Ivy pink sauce, mesquite-grilled steaks, and The Ivy Gimlet at the bar. The menu changes with the seasons — Chef Richard Irving updates it to follow the farmers market.

Does The Ivy have vegan, gluten-free, or dairy-free menus?

Yes — dedicated vegan, gluten-free, and dairy-free menus are available on request, and the bar prepares non-alcoholic versions of its cocktails with the same fresh ingredients.

Does The Ivy serve caviar or Champagne by the glass?

Yes. Classic caviar service features 14g or 30g of Golden Reserve Kaluga ($65/$125), and the wine list pours Dom Pérignon by the glass alongside a cellar of more than 180 wines by the bottle.

Can I celebrate a birthday or special occasion at The Ivy?

Absolutely — birthdays, anniversaries, and engagements are a house specialty, and custom cakes baked by our own bakery can be ordered ahead for your celebration. For larger parties, note the 20% gratuity for groups of 5 or more.

Is The Ivy in Los Angeles related to The Ivy in London?

No — The Ivy on Robertson Boulevard opened in 1980 and is not affiliated with the London restaurant group of the same name. The two Ivy Restaurants in Southern California are The Ivy in Los Angeles and Ivy at the Shore in Santa Monica, both from the same founders.
